Empty your head, choose, start.

Three small tools that share the same list: dump once, then sort it or spin it. Everything stays in your browser.

Brain dump template

Illustration: sticky notes flying into six colored trays

Use it when your head is full and you can't start anything. You type one thought per line; the tool sorts each line into six bins (to do, call, buy, worries, ideas, don't forget), then asks you to pick three and circle one. There is a one-page PDF if you prefer paper.

Stuck on what to write? Try the 50 brain dump prompts. If focus is the hard part, read the ADHD-friendly brain dump version, or keep a running brain dump journal.

Eisenhower matrix template

Use it when everything feels urgent. Drag each task into do now, schedule, delegate or drop. You can import the list from your brain dump in one click, and the page prints on a single sheet.

For other ways to rank a list (1-3-5, 3-3-3), see how to prioritize tasks. If one dreaded task blocks the rest, eat the frog explains when doing it first helps and when it backfires.

Task wheel

Use it when you have a list but can't choose. Spin for a random task from a ready-made chore list, your brain dump or your own items, then run the optional 5-minute timer. It also works as a chore wheel for kids or roommates.

How the tools fit together

  1. Dump everything with the brain dump template.
  2. Sort it in the Eisenhower matrix if a lot of it feels urgent.
  3. Spin the task wheel when you still can't pick, and start the timer.

Nothing you type is sent anywhere: the lists are saved in your browser only. See the privacy page.
